But that would only be what those stories are on the surface. Those stories are about so much more than the simple words written in each sentence of their text. Not to attempt compare anything written in Truth And Liability in any way to those great works, these are merely well known examples. The real story within Truth And Liability is the media firestorm that ripped the blindfold off the eyes of Lady Liberty, offset the scales of Justice, and eradicated the law of innocence until proven guilty. Within this story are the unrealized loss of freedom in America and the loss of everything that heretofore Americans held in high regard as they were sacrificed on the altar of sensationalistic journalism. Of course these things have been happening slowly over a period of many years, but the historical event captured in Truth And Liability may be the defining moment when the sacred duty of a free press to report facts clashed with the sacred right of the freedom of speech, that moment when the story that sold copy became more important than the truth. Truth And Liability raises the question we should all be asking. With a press that cares not for the truth, can we ever return to the days when America had a superman fighting for truth, justice and the American way of life?
