Reverend Hugh Macmillan was a 19th century Scottish pastor who lived from 1833 to 1903. Aside from his pastoral vocation, Macmillan also seems to have had a deep love and knowledge of botany, geology, geography, and the spiritual nature of human beings. In addition, Reverend Macmillan also wrote 200 sermons which are now in the public domain.
