Apparition

After the crushing loss of her beloved grandmother, 17 year old Ellen's parents relocate the family to the picturesque beachside town of Lake Cathie in the hope that it will pull their grieving daughter from her depression.however, on the very first night in her new home Ellen is visited by her departed grandmother who issues her with a warning. Everything is not as it seems. Ellen is not alone in her bedroom. Ellen begins experiencing strange and frightening phenomenon. Lights flicker, doors slam and someone from the other side is calling her name. Willing to do whatever it takes to rid herself of the menacing presence, she'll lie to her parents, skip school, set ghost traps and even convince a priest to get involved. Meanwhile her parents are concerned for her mental well-being. Once the apparition reveals himself to be a handsome young man who was desperate to be noticed by her, Ellen's life spirals out of control. He has no memory of how he died or came to be trapped in the house. He cant remember anything other than his fathers voice calling him, Lucky. Ellen is determined to set his tortured spirit free. She wants to discover Lucky's real identity so his soul can be at rest. However, to save him will also mean, she will lose him. Her parents want to have her committed and Ellen's not surprised. After all, it has to be insane of her to believe she has fallen in love with her tragic, handsome apparition. Sane or insane, Ellen will do whatever it takes to save him. Even if that means losing herself.
