Peter Gregson, renowned composer, cellist and Deutsche Grammophon artist, presents his fifth studio album, Patina. Gregson has long been fascinated by the effects of finitude and absence on life and by trying to translate these powerful no-things into his music. With his new studio album, he asks himself and the listener the question: What happens if you remove the melody?

His film productions include Roger Michell's "Blackbird" (starring Kate Winslet and Susan Sarandon) and Alan Rickman's "A Little Chaos", as well as the critically acclaimed soundtrack for the critically acclaimed video game "Boundless" and the music to some of the most popular television series, from Netflix's hit "Bridgeton" to HBO's "The New Pope" by Paolo Sorrentino. Brands like Balenciaga, Burberry, Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Pat McGrath have used Gregson's music in their recent campaigns and runway shows.
