Judy Blank has taken a slightly different approach with her music, which everyone with a bit of feeling comes home to. Armed with guitar she sets a different sound than before. Many of the songs are inspired by her recent travels to America. There she played in intimate settings at open mic nights in various bars and cafes in Louisiana, where she soon became talk of the day. In no time she was asked to play at the local radio station and she had new gigs at it. She also dreamed away at shows from her biggest sources of inspiration: folk / country duo The Wood Brothers and Ben Howard. She met, lived, took the time to grow; and you can hear that. The texts are more mature, more experienced and more honest than ever.
